Nismo is releasing a titanium exhaust kit for the R32, R33 and R34 Skyline GT-R.

The value of older Nissan Skyline GT-Rs continues to soar, especially now that imports to North America are becoming available.

As a result, the GT-R has become increasingly popular among collectors, but given the popularity of the GT-R in the tuning scene, finding an original GT-R in top condition is rare. However, given the popularity of the GT-R in the tuning scene, finding an original in top condition is rare.

Due to its popularity, Nismo has been developing more and more official replacement parts for the R32, R33, and R34 generation GT-Rs. The latest is a titanium exhaust kit that can reduce body weight by approximately 28 pounds. The kit also reduces exhaust backpressure by about 7%.

Each exhaust kit is specific to the model it is designed for, and like most titanium setups, the price is not cheap. the price of the kit for the R32 and R33 GT-R is 726,000 yen (about $6,300). the kit for the R34 GT-R is 737,. 000 yen (about $6,400).

The list of parts that Nismo offers for the classic GT-R now runs into the hundreds, some of which are made in unconventional ways. The entire engine can be purchased if necessary.

But for buyers with truly deep pockets, Nismo offers a complete restoration service, allowing customers to strip the car down to its bare structure, repair it as needed (measuring rigidity and dimensions), and even apply an anti-rust coating before a complete repaint and rebuild.

There are also options for owners on a tight budget. For example, restorations can focus on just one element, such as the powertrain, drivetrain, or interior. In each restoration, all parts involved are inspected and tested, then either refurbished or replaced with official parts. A detailed log of all work is included in the process along with part numbers.

Nismo also offers owners the opportunity to upgrade, for example, from a standard GT-R to a V-Spec or V-Spec II Nur as part of the service. According to Nismo, this is subject to parts availability.
