Hypercar "Praga" in production

Czech racing car specialist Praga will unveil its first hypercar on November 23.

The new car, previewed in teaser photos and video, is designed for the track, but could also be driven on public roads, including possibly in the United States

. The company, represented by Praga Racing West at Sonoma Raceway in California, said the car is planned for all major hypercar markets.

According to Praga, the car is already in the late stages of development. Production is expected to begin in 2023, with just 12 cars planned for the first year.

What we do know is that the car will feature a powerful gas engine and lightweight carbon fiber construction, a combination that the company says will result in a "dramatic" power-to-weight ratio. The teaser video also hints at a closed cabin, roof-mounted scoops, titanium exhaust tips, and Alcon brakes.

More details, including pricing, will be announced when the car is unveiled next week.
