2025 Toyota 4 Runner, Lamborghini Huracan STJ: Today's Automotive News
Toyota's 4Runner has been redesigned for the first time in over a decade. It is twinned with the Tacoma, which was introduced last year, and also shares a platform with the new Land Cruiser and Lexus GX. The recipe is familiar, but the old V-6 engine is gone. In its place is a turbo four that can be optioned as a hybrid.
The Lamborghini Huracán will end production this year after 10 years in production. The final version will be presented as the Huracán STJ, of which only 10 will be built. The Huracán's successor will debut at the end of the year, most likely with an electrified V8 engine in place of the V10.
Porsche's updated Taycan series has spawned a new flagship variant, dubbed the Taycan Turbo GT. It has a maximum output of 1,092 hp and 0-60 mph acceleration in just 2.1 seconds. It set an EV lap record at Laguna Seca and came within a whisker of matching the EV lap record set by Rimac's hypercar, the Nevella, at the Nürburgring.
