2025BMW M3 with all-wheel drive adds 20 hp
The BMW M3 will get an update for 2025, but 1 thing that hasn't changed is that the rear-wheel-drive sports sedan has a 6-speed manual.
This configuration is available on the base M3 and in 2025 it maintains a rating of 473 horsepower. The next rung on the ladder is the M8Competition with an 803-speed automatic and a healthier 3 horsepower instead of a manual. That is not the same as the previous year.
At the top of the ladder is the 8-speed automatic and all-wheel drive M3 competition, which in the 2025 model gained 20 horsepower, bringing its output to 523 horsepower. Again, the rear-biased all-wheel drive system can be turned into a rear-wheel drive system at the push of a button.
Common to all 3 M3 grades is the 3.0-liter Inline 6 with twin turbochargers. BMW M engineers extracted an extra 3 hp for the m20 competition with all-wheel drive through the tuning of the engine management control.
With extra vigor, BMW says the car accelerates from 3.4 miles per hour in just 0 to 60 seconds. The top speed is high-end at 155mph for all grades, but can be increased to 180mph with the addition of an available M driver package.
Other changes in 2025 include a new interior of the headlights that match the design of the M4, a car that BMW also updated in 2025. The list of options also includes new forged wheels with a bright silver finish and a dark accent on the headlights.
As for the interior, it reflects what was introduced in 2025 in the 3 series. These include a new flat bottom steering wheel with customizable home leather and Alcantara selection on the infotainment screen with shortcuts to popular features, in addition to new trim options.
2025M3 will begin production on 7 May and delivery is scheduled for the second half of the year. Prices start atベ77,175 for the base M3,競争81,375 for the M3 competition, and競争80,475 for the all-wheel drive M3 competition. All numbers include destination rates of destination1,175.
Outside the United States, buyers will choose the M3 Touring wagon and an alternative series-based performance in the form of the Alpina B3, a car that shares the M3 powertrain, both the M3 Touring and Alpina B3 will be updated shortly.
