2025 Infiniti QX60 changes from V-6 to turbo 4-cylinder

The Infiniti QX60 three-row luxury crossover will enter the 2025 model year with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder as standard equipment, replacing the 3.5-liter V-6 of the 2024 model year.

Maximum output is 268 hp, down from the 295 hp of the V-6 engine. Infiniti claims improved efficiency, but does not provide any mileage figures; no EPA-rated figures have been released; and the engine's power output has been reduced to 268 hp, compared to 295 hp for the V6 engine.

While power has decreased, prices have increased: the 2025 QX60 is priced at $50,200, up $550 from the MSRP of the current 2024 model.

Another change for 2025 is a new key fob, with the option to have the vehicle automatically lock or unlock when the person with the key approaches or leaves the vehicle. A Black Edition design pack was also available.

The QX60 comes in four grades: Pure, Luxe, Sensory, and Autograph. Front-wheel drive is standard on most grades, while all-wheel drive is a $2,000 option on the Autograph.

A nine-speed automatic is standard on all grades, and when properly equipped, all grades are capable of towing up to 6,000 lbs. This is equivalent to the towing capacity of a V-6 engine.

Even in base spec, the QX60 is well equipped: 18-inch wheels, leather trim, heated front seats, heated steering wheel, three-zone climate control, 12.3-inch infotainment screen, and nine-speaker audio system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, among other standard features. A variety of electronic driver assistance features are also standard, including front and rear automatic braking, blind spot warning, and lane departure warning.

The 2025 Infiniti QX60 arrived in showrooms in July.
