2025 Acura ADX land at target price near mid-3 30,000 mark
The Acura RDX compact crossover has grown larger and more expensive over the years, with the starting price of the current 2025 model approaching the 5 50,000 mark. This has opened up space in Acura's lineup for a slightly smaller compact crossover, the 2025ADX, announced on Thursday ahead of its market launch early next year.
Prices will be announced close to market launch, but Acura said it expects the starting price to fall near the mid-near30,000 mark. This is a couple of grand higher than Acura's Integra Compact hatchback, the starting price of its platform ADX stock vehicle.
The ADX is 185.8 inches in length, or just 1.6 inches smaller than the RDX, making it a vehicle that offers more space compared to rival premium compact crossovers in this price range. The cargo space is 24.4 cubic feet behind the rear seats and is expandable to 55.1 cubic feet with the rear seats folded flat. And to make the loading gear easier, the car is fitted with a power tailgate with an automatic closing function.
At the time of launch, you can choose between base and A-Spec models. Even in the basic form, ADX has a lot as a standard. The list includes 18-inch wheels, wireless chargers, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 10.2-inch digital gauge cluster, and a 9.0-inch touchscreen display for infotainment systems.
The A-Spec has been upgraded to 19-inch wheels and adds extras like a sliding panoramic sunroof and a cooled front seat. A-Spec will also be available in a pre-package, adding some technical extras like Google's built-in and 15 speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system.
Multiple electronic driver assistance features are also standard, including automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic warning, active lane control, adaptive cruise control, and traffic sign recognition. The surround view camera system will be available and standard in ADX A-Spec with Advance package.
The only powertrain is the 1.5-litre Turbo-4, which is compatible with CVT and all-wheel drive systems and can deliver up to 50% of the drive torque to the rear wheels. Acura does not mention horsepower figures, but Integra's same engine provides 200 horsepower. The more powerful ADX Type S could be launched at some point, given Acura's promise to offer a Type s performance variant for all models in the lineup. It is possible any ADX type S will feature the same 320 hp 2.0 liter turbo 4 found in the Integra Type S
The arrival of the ADX, Acura said RDX more This brand will be available exclusively in China between 2016 and 2022 with a sub-compact cross called CDX. There was an over. We considered bringing the CDX to the US, but ultimately ruled it out.
