Bentley is currently adding textures to the Mulliner build
Demand for Bentley's Mulliner Personalization division is at record levels. According to Bentley, about three out of all four of its cars leave the factory with some Mulliner touches.
With strong demand, Mulliner is looking at ways to expand its offering. 1 route is the introduction of a much more tactile material and finish.
Some of these were used in a collection of 4 Continental GT Speed Convertibles developed by Mulliner on behalf of Bentley Rancho Mirage, a Southern California dealer.
Known as the expression of the texture collection, the car features a special paint finish, three-dimensional quilting, and new materials.
Outstanding details include a matte paint finish, which Bentley says can take up to 55 hours to apply. There are also thin stone veneers on wafers and embossed upholstery that can create almost any pattern, including terrain lines. 1. One of the cars reflects the scenery of the Coachella Valley, where the Bentley Rancho Mirage dealer is located. The other 1 reflects the fluid shape of the dunes carved by the desert wind.
In a statement, Mulliner's Chief Commercial Officer, David Parker, said that the cars in the collection are an inspiration for customers looking to take advantage of Mulliner's latest products and for buyers who are short on time but still keen on unique vehicles, Mulliner also has its own curated cars like last year's Bentayga EWB Mulliner. We will launch it.
The cars in the collection are based on the current Continental GT Speed Convertible, but an updated version has been revealed packing the V-8 plug-in hybrid powertrain instead of the traditional W-12 engine. It is attributed to the sale next year.
