Range Rover SV Candeo takes bespoke options to the extreme
JLR has revealed another limited edition range rover prepared by the SV Personalization Division. This is even more exclusive than last year's 7-unit Range Rover SV Carmel Edition collection.
The Range Rover SV Candeo was revealed in Miami on Tuesday, a day after JLR showed off its Jaguar Type 00 concept in the city. Only one example exists and it will remain the only one, JLR confirmed.
Candeo's name is a reference to the Latin word meaning "shining" or "shining", and a special SUV, an 18-carat pure gold badge almost 32 ounces, made using a jeweler's 3D printing, was required to complete the complete "Range Rover" script on the hood.
The SUV is also finished with hand-painted paint featuring fades intended to evoke the typical sunrise of the Miami coastal skyline. A pale blue appears at the top and fades into the main pearl white color at the rear of the vehicle. JLR said it is the first time it has applied a fade to one of its cars. Complete the exterior is a set of 23-inch forged wheels with inserts that match the color of the body.
A color theme similar to the exterior is in the interior, combining dark wood veneers with a white ceramic finish on the gear shifter and controls. The seat back accent stitching features a radiant sun motif, while the top has an embroidered headliner displaying gold shades with various lighting that continues the sunrise theme. Radiating solar patterns are also found on cabin cushions that JLR said required 90,000 stitches per cushion.
Jlr does not say which powertrain the Range Rover SV Candeo uses.
The special SUV is currently available and all proceeds in excess of MSRP will be donated to Arts Access Miami, a charity that supports arts education as a child.
Anyone who buys an SV or autobiographical model can choose their own commission, JLR said. Options similar to those found in the Range Rover SV Candeo will be available from the 2026 model.
