A prototype of a subcompact crossover similar to the Chevrolet Bolt EV has been spotted.

The vehicle will be called the Bolt EUV, General Motors announced Wednesday. This may indicate GM's desire to separate the "electric utility vehicle" from the electric cars already on sale.

The prototype is heavily camouflaged, but its elements appear to match the current Bolt EV.
