Bugatti's mysterious hypercar was unveiled.

In recent weeks, Bugatti has been hinting at the arrival of a model with radical styling, and over the weekend we got a major hint in the form of a teaser shot release.

Bugatti had previously teased that the car's taillights would be arranged in an "X" shape, reminiscent of the X-Wing Starfighter from Star Wars, and this design can be clearly seen in the video below. The video actually shows a large part of the design, and it appears to be a model that is specialized for circuit driving, like the Le Mans Prototype Racer. Note the huge intake on the roof and the stabilizing fins behind it.

Could it be entered in the new Le Mans Hypercar class of the World Endurance Championship? Bugatti has a history of Le Mans entries.

Bugatti has not revealed anything about the car yet, but they are planning something for October 28. They have also revealed a figure of 0.67 as some clue.

This may be the car mentioned in CAR's September report that Bugatti is about to be transferred from its current owner, the Volkswagen Group, to EV technology company Rimac, and that in the process current Bugatti chief executive Stephan Winkelmann will leave Bugatti The car may be the one that was mentioned in the report. Just prior to his departure, he will reportedly unveil a wild circuit car inspired by the Bugatti Vision Le Mans concept conceived by student designer Max Rusk (pictured above).
